Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to some information on when the show is, who is eligible, what kind of animals are shown.  I had heard that there was a weight limit of 900 pounds...isn't it a winter preview?  Any details just drop em' here or PM me please.

Ive gone to this show the past 2 years and it is usually the second weekend in December... usually like the 10-12. Anyone under the age of 21 can show as long as they live in Michigan and are in 4-H or FFA and any breed of cattle can be shown. There are usually about 800-1000 head that are shown over the weekend between the heifers and steers. The steers are shown Saturday and the heifers Sunday. There is a bred and owned show and U-fit contest friday. There is a 900 lbs weight limit for crossbred and breed classes but you can still show if you're over 900 lbs in a heavyweight class. More information can be found at the Michigan Junior Livestock Society's webstite. http://www.mijrlivestocksociety.com/ Hope this helps. Its a really fun show. Lots of really nice cattle.
