I know this is an old post, so you probably already have what you need, but if not we have a very nice black steer that just came available. We didn't sell this steer when we were selling the others because we held him back for a senior girl. She decided this week that she doesn't need him so he is now for sale. He is a black limi x Godfather that is black, sound, stout, 900 # plus, gentle as a dog, and was shown 2 weeks ago at a county fair by a young girl. In years past I have hunted steers this time of year and they are either cripples or crazies that someone finally gave up on.
