losing hair

Our calves started losing hair 3 weeks from show. Should we continue to work hair daily?  :-\

Ive had the same problem started about 2 weeks ago had some good luck with maine and tail conditioner.  Ive been keeping it really cold too and see no sunlight at all.  Sorry thats all I can offer.

Cattle naturally shed and grow new hair in a cycle every 90 days or so. Just keep working their hair and you should be fine.
