MAB or Unstoppable

We have a WMW cow and a Slick 50 cow that are good cows. They just need more mass. We are trying to decide between Unstoppable or MAB. Thoughts? We think they both would make great steers but in you alls opinion which one would make better heifers (or steers)? I am asking generalling and not really specifically to my cows

I would say MAB will get you the mass you are looking for. Unstoppable really is just a complete bull saw him this past spring on stud and was very impressed very sound, stout enough made, but no real stand out feature just a overall complete bull.

Thank you for your response. We all know that we can't control if our cows have bulls or heifers unless we use sexed semen. If either cow has a bull by either bull then we hope they will make good show steers. If either cow has a heifer we'd hope they're good enough to keep. We know Unstoppable should have daughters in production and MAB not so much. We're wondering if most people are keeping daughters from either bull and how they are doing.

From a perspective of wanting calves of both sexes then you want to use Unstoppable or you may even consider a TH clean bull so that they're daughters could be bred to carriers. If you need body bone and muscle MAB but if you are trying to improve structure;+ keep heifers and steers Unstoppable.

Thanks again. We like have considered bulls like Amen or Dakota Gold or even using a simmi bull to make some half blood simmi replacement females.

I wouldn't reccomend Dakota gold. Not a real big fan I saw him on stud this summer.

I really like that Amen bull because i think he can make very good replacement heifers and he has the raw power of making show steers, even used some of him last year and the calf is coming in Febuary  ;D

From seeing both bulls and I have both on hand, I think that Unstoppable is the more complete all around bull, but MAB sure has his place and will throw more body mass, but as you asked your question, between these 2 I would use Unstoppable. JMO.

I have had very limited use of Unstoppable but the calves are so sound and gentle.  He seems to add some body too. I will have about 10 MAB calves this fall and hope they are as good as the ones I have seen.  I don't think you can go wrong with either bull.
