Hey JIT,

Congratulations!!  The Major Leroy calves in Cagwin's sale catalog look great.  I particularly like the 12A heifer.  With her Charmer dam she makes me wonder how he would work on our Sonny X Charmer cow.  I'll certainly be investigating that cross for 09!!

Again, congratulations, looks like he's doing a great job for you!!

Thanks for your compliments on the Leroy calves!  I really do like ours here at the farm as well. He seems to sire good females as well as bulls. We have never used a bull before ( of any breed) that adds as much butt and overall thickness as Leroy does. He makes them pretty sound structurally as well.  I have had some pretty good comments from all over the world in the past few months. Some people refer to him as being a muscle bull. I tend to think of him as a well muscled bull who looks like a beef bull should look.

I am presently slowly losing my mind ( or what is left of it!) trying to take some pictures of some Leroy calves we are selling in the Fever sale in October. We are selling a couple of Myrtle Bo X Leroy heifers that I really like, as well as a super thick, hairy March heifer. Thank God for digital or I would be going broke from photo development costs! I have attached a picture of the March Gertie Nu heifer. I will attach some of the Myrtle Bo heifers later.
