can't see a live feed yet.  i'll keep looking.  supposedly it's on TODAY. (i'm wrong, it starts tomorrow 8 am pacific time.

it's a special invitation only event.

it's a freaky spot brought on by a rise under the sea, a storm affect and tides.  only recently discovered in the early 90's.

That is some pretty gnarly science.  I wish I lived near an ocean sometimes....surfing is fun. I couldn't handle Mavericks though...those are, on average, 40 footers!! How long do you think the barrels are on the average wave there?
