ummm... ive seen crosses similar to that.... got newhere from charcoal gray to smokey to even very similar to him, just depending what the cow was. Bet you will like what you see though!

WILL DO!!
  We still have several NICE paddy calves out of those same momma cows--is anyone else having slow sales this year?
Sure hope it picks up soon sure don't want to sell them at auction --think they'd let me lead 'em in the ring?? LOL

How was your structure?  I have had terrible luck with jwr on structure even out of red angus cows.  The majority of the calves i have seen out of him across the country have had structure problems.

I have a steer that is being shown in july and is sound as a cat moves really nice may be a tiny bit straight but that is all and have a calf that was born end of march and he is looking great mabe just bad luck on your part And I have been using him on black angus I really like him and will probably use him a lot more in the future JMO
