We have a meyer 734 x angus. This will be her second pregnancy.
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with KBAR Carney Man? This is the bull I'm thinking of breeding her to.
Any experience or comments about this bull would be appreciated!!!!
Thanks!!

The little info I have found in past blogs seems to talk more on using him on smaller cows otherwise they get too big. So in your opinion, is this usually the case? This meyer is not a small framed cow.
Has anyone else used him on meyers?

Carey man is a good all around bull. Especially down here in the slick shows. They may get too big Idk I haven't seen a lot with problems with size however

I've seen several carney man heifers this year and all were outstanding.  Can't speak for steers or birthweights though

I have used Carney Man and me personaly would not use him again unless the cow you are breeding him to is "Ohlde style".  They have to be really soft made for him to work.  He will not work on anything meyer influenced unless you can sell them on color.

Just bought a heifer a while back with carney man on the bottom and sold a direct carney man daughter the cow needs to be solf made for sure I wouldnt worry much on size as some of these cattle are gettin to small. He will sure put a great front end in one though!

Not that it may be a problem for you, but Carney Man is out of a Meyer734 Dam.
more myer the better right

Doesn't seem to work out that way neccesarily. Meyer, Meyer, Climax and others with double & triple shots of Meyer are not exactly working as PPL had thought & hoped.

I have a 08 Carneyman x Draftpick  she is stout made, longnecked, could be deeper and softer, and I think they are alittle tight haired.
