I only watched about 10-12 head sell yesterday- and thought it was pretty weak compared to what they could have brought, and have brought at other sales.  I think I watched what they called the bottom of the first round, and top of the second...  Quite a few 1400-1800 dollars ones.

I think the first bull out of the gate- only brought 1900 maybe...

Highest seller I saw was Cagwin heifer at 3700 I think...

I didn't write anything down, didn't have a catalog in front of me...just went in, sat down, and watched for a bit.

I was told that lot#2 brought $5k. I heard Justin Olsuns' bull looked real good. Heard he was the best bull there. Thats all I really know.

I would agree-- again without a catalog- I wrote that number down as the only bull I would consider researching as they walked to the block.  Once I got back, I looked him up-- pretty sure he was a TM Gus son- have no idea what he brought though.

I watched a little bit of the Nebraska sale and the $$ there were lower than what I thought they would be too

Justin Olson's bull is a Gus son out of a first time heifer that he showed a couple years back that he bought out of the sullivan farm pasture sale. the cow is an ace of diamonds out of the lakeside Jane Mary donor. i believe he sold him for $2500
