I heard that got the lot 22 bull bought. He is a Spry's All Gold out of an Alta Cedar Top Dog dam.
Looking forward to seeing him in person. Stumpy says he is good, so that is the only opinion I need.

Grant, He looks good and I'm sure you'll put him to good use.
We're still flooded in, so I didn't get there. Jason, the prices look light across the board...did they look that way to you in person?

A 45 WW Epd lol
Spry's All Gold D052 is an EBV trait leader for WW on Australian BreedPlan figures.  Although lot 22's BW looks high, I use All Gold as my heifer bull.  I acquired South African semen rights and 500 doses in 2009 and have been extremely happy with the purchase.
JIT, you will not regret this purchase I am sure!  Last year, first calf All Gold daughter gave top weaning calf, second calf by JSF Gauge 137W born a few weeks ago.  Also first daughter to calve this year gave a 26kg (57lbs) heifer calf.  Definitely no calving issues here!
Appendix free an added bonus.
Good luck with him.

I have seen several All Gold offspring in the past couple years, and I really haven't seen one that I would consider to be a bad one. I'm having some regrets for not buying the North American rights in All Gold a few years ago when Gerald Spry offered me the opportunity. At the time I was looking for a walking bull rather than more semen so I didn't act on his offer. It looks to me, that he is one of the better breeding bulls to come along in awhile.
I have heard a lot of good stuff about this All Gold bull from CCS. I think he will work well with some of the genetics in our herd.

Ryan you would have seen offspring but I'm pretty sure the bull is still walking at Sprys. Cagwin's had two 3/4 brothers by All Gold when I was there a few weeks back. They were both very good bulls with outstanding performance, look and of a frame score workable for most programs. I had a trailer along and didn't wait for the IL expo sale so the other bull came to Kansas. Both were very good prospects with a few give and take differences. Best of luck Grant! I think we both came out good on this deal.
