I used to live in another state, so I really have no idea...does Missouri have a Beef Expo? Is it at the State Fairgrounds? When is it typically?

I have never heard of Missouri having a beef expo like other states. The Columbia AGR show has turned into having displays and such over the past few years tho.

The Missouri AGR is usually around the first weekend in February and has taken place in Columbia the last couple year. Heifers show Saturday and steers on Sunday.

Thanks for the responses. I emailed the State Fair Beef Dept. They apparently DO NOT have a Beef Expo like some of the surrounding states (IA and IL). They did forward my email to the MO Cattlemen's Association, who replied that they host a Missouri Junior Show. They reported that it is the largest junior cattle show in Missouri - outside of the State Fair. It is held at the state fairgrounds in June.

Missouri does not have a beef expo. The Mizzou AGR is usually in early Feb, but has been moved to March 14-15 for 2015. It is also usually in Columbia, but has also been moved to the state fairgrounds in Sedalia. There is usually a show every weekend from March-April. Either check out the MO Cattleman's Page or look-up the Missouri Club Calf Association. Both have a points system and sanction several shows.
