That would make him a 98 model.  Great testicle size, you don't see that much in the Maine breed.  Thanks for posting.

I may be wrong, but for me to be considered an outcross, an animal needs to be removed at least 7 generations...but if you do that within a breed, you will attain similar or the same vigor as breeding a hybrid by using another breed.

personally, I just thought it odd that there would be a complete out cross clubby in the Maine breed.  Irish Whiskey only traces back to Paramount once (that we know of) where as, 'Rev' has two shots of Paramount as well as atleast 4 shots of Atan (Cunia's and Eran's sire)

fairly outcross (200 registered direct progeny?)

Smithbilt supposedly saved the black Maine breed in Canada and he only has 245 listed progeny (some of those may have been bred in the US)

just a few things I thought I'd point out since you decided this is the place to be so obnoxious.

Hate to be the one to tell you this but I put on the Poorboy show that heifer was not reserve she was beat in class.  Didn't get a chance to get into the line up.  Sorry for who ever told you the wrong info.

i'll take a stab at what is an outcross in this bull's pedigree.

non-cunia based atan three times(one more?) from thunderbeef liberty and boventure dividend (and is the most unique thing about this bull other than the galten bull)
if this bull doesn't have monkey mouth or SP, that would be great.
ceadrow disciple up close
galten leader
indezi

the rest of the stuff is in pretty much everything.

I'm with Okie on this one. That hfr is nice but I have seen her at several shows and I don't ever remember her winning a class and she has never been in the grand drive.

for the record that hfr has won plenty up here in canada before she ever went down there and she has only been to 2 shows in the states so far so I dunno where you are seeing her at "all" these shows! she was reserve maine day 1 at harrison and champion maine day 2 at harrison and second in her "class" at poor boy so before you run my cattle into the ground maybe figure out exactly what you have seen first

I was not running that heifer in the ground she is a nice heifer just a little on the small side.  I just wanted to make sure that you had all the correct information on what she has done.
