What are the birth weights on monopoly like?

In my experience, most of ours have been in the 80s. Just one heavier than that but out of a charolais cow that always throws heavy ones even to calving ease stuff. His birthweight and quality of calves makes him a favorite around here.

Had a friend that lost a couple out of him,could have been using Charolais ,we had four out of Charolais cow an none over 90 lbs, now I'm worried if they get thick enough.....never happpy ,I really think they will be pretty good calves ....

All mine have been 85 to 115 lbs.  But have had no issues calving them.  They come alot smaller than his father.

Last year I had 4 and all of them were 85-90# and never touched one. All nice calves. I just had 1 yesterday and we had to jack it out and it taped at 128#. Last year this same cow(a Hannibal) spit out a nice 85# bull. The winter was terrible and I know that has an affect, but this calf has set the high water mark for BW this year in our neighborhood. With that said I certainly would advise breeding to him knowing that there is a possibility you will need to give assistance. The same could be said for 90% of club calf bulls.

most have been in the90# range in our neck of the woods.Some have been considerably as heavy or more so than the HW's.Most will continue to use him til semen [personal] runs dry.Scuttlebutt is they will then hang their hat on Boardwalk.i will use a combo of Boardwalk and Headliner.

Do you think there is a big difference between the monopolys and the heat waves after they are 3-4 months old?
