I am preparing to breed a cow to flush and I am considering using either Monopoly or a full sib (there are quite a few i.e. Headliner, All Aboard, & etc.), or a Monopoly son such as Boardwalk.

Do you believe that there is a 1. full sib to Monopoly, or 2. a Monopoly Son that is better than Monopoly himself?.  Both for steers or replacement females?

Have you had calves out of them or seen calves out of them?  I know there are many calves out of this cattle family.

Thanks,

Somebody posted on here, I believe it was yesterday on the walks alone post, that they saw Boardwalk at stud and he looked terrible. He said Monopoly Money  looked good.

We used Headliner on one of our Sim-Angus cows last year and were real happy with the results.  We only breed one or two cows to clubyy bulls a year so we don't have a lot of different sire groups to compare him to.
Here he is .  He would be 50% Angus by pedigree.

If I were you, I would just use Monopoly. He has truly proven himself as a sire.

Decided to use Monopoly himself for the flush.  Just ordered some yesterday.

Cattle Visions has Monopoly semen right now for $40.00/unit.

Personally, I like the looks of Master of Puppets better than Monopoly. Ofcourse, we will have to see if he throws as good of calves. I hopefully will get to let you know next fall.
