Yes and no...  I know some lines of corgis never whelp more than 6 or 7.  This line will give us the big litter occasionally.    I personally don't like this many puppies.    We had a litter of four once and to me that was ideal.

We have one female that we get 5-6 each time the other we have had 9 and 10, 5-6 to me is the perfect size for that small of a dog but they both raise them without any problems or assistance.

I agree - I wonder if they've isolated a litter size gene?    They have the fluff gene, vWD gene, etc...  why not do litter size.

she is small.  5 pounds, 5 ounces and fat.  she only gets 2.5 ozs. of feed/day but won't los weight.  we are looking into weight watchers for her.

Here they are...
There are 11 in the first picture but not in the other 2.  I have the 11th/last/smallest puppy in my homemade NICU for puppies.
