for those of you w/ dial-up I started a new thread.

The first 2 is my new money Man heifer. She was born on Easter & named that. She weighed 100 pounds but that's better than the usual 120 plus from the cow. was also unassisted.
The last is my Bear or Ursa. She is out of Cherry Bomb & the foreplay family line.

Thanks showgirl 2010! I treated myself to a long zoom lens last fall before sale cattle pictures and that was probably the best idea I've had!  :D You can get a good shot from a ways a way without having to sneak up on them and can get them when they're 'posing.' It took me all afternoon to get a few pics though...

CAB, Thriller's AMAA number is 223692. He's an older bull. We use him on all our heifers because he calves so easy. These calves are all from Shorthorn x Hereford cross cows sired by our Maverick bull. They are not big cows, but pretty structurally correct and usually pretty stylish. The steer with the brockle face is out of a three year old, the white faced steer and the blue heifer are out of two year olds.

more new ones. I'm getting confused from the photos on who is who. The brownish is a Hard Core heifer, the red is a Triple X. The first one is a money Man & the last is my Cherry Bear.

Here's my favorite money man heifer. She just loves attention.  I just think she's gonna turn out nice.

Had my first Mama's Boy about an hour ago!  I'll have pictures later.

Thanks BRdoc, I'm going to try to keep our website updated with pictures of the calves as they grow this year (we'll see how I do!). Feel free to get in touch later to see how they're coming along if I don't quite live up to my promise!

There are some very nice calves on the board this spring - We can just wait four months and start up a 'where-are-they-now' thread!

She is out of a cow we raised. The cow is a Iceman out of a Foreplay cow. She's the dam of the red heifer we sold at the 07 Expo. Thanks, I think she is special too!
