Here is a suggestion for a bluing shampoo:
3/4 of regular soap in a bottle and then fill the rest with Mrs. Stewart's bluing. This makes a pretty good mix. Also Wisk Laundry detergent is a really good stain remover. If you need results quickly you can mix in some Oxy-Clean. However, this is very harsh on the hair and make sure you follow up with some sort of skin/hair conditioner. I like Revive or Kleen Sheen if used daily.
Also there are shampoos for gray/silver haired people. Pantene makes a Silver Expressions that works really well & not as harsh as some of the other products.
