my first steer

ive shown many market hogs and breeder hogs but i got my first steer for my county fair in november 08. it is a blue roan it only got six scoops a day but shared it with six other cows.it could use muscle and hair.what do i do

Do you already have the calf weaned? what are you feeding him

so you are feeding him and 6 other cows 6 scoops of showmaster. i would get him halter broke if he isnt already and start rinseing him everday. start excersing him daily, and start feeding him 2% of his body weight in show feed, give him a flake or two of grass hay a day. can we get some pictures.
