I agree! keep him on one feed. Like I said earlier, can you get some of the feed he was suded to & mix it in w/ the new?

Do not feed him alone.  Stick  another steer or heifer in the pen with him.  Take away grain and offer free choice hay.  Gradually add back grain that has been top dressed with brewer's malt.  Patience, he is in a new place.  He will come around.
