February 21 My Turn x Shorthorn x Maine. This is the farms best calf this year. She's gonna be a ground sow and heck of a show heifer. weaned june 10

She is priced at $2500. I could be asking a lot more considering how good she is and how much potential she has. Registrable as a Chi.
We weaned her today and she was the best acting calf out of the bunch. Seems like she will be kid friendly and easy to handle. I will have her broke to lead before she leaves. She has been on creep for about 3 weeks now. She is polled as well so no horns or scurrs to worry about. I'll have updated pictures after I get her washed and clipped. She has pretty good hair right now. I won't have a lot of time to work the hair with 8 other calves to deal with.

My little niece will be showing her at our fair in August, however, if someone would like to have her before then, that's absolutely OK. I think she could compete at the State Fair. I'll deliver within a reasonable distance as well. Possibly even throw in a Steer Planet discount

Having a little shorthorn in em seems to really work on alot of the cattle im seeing-and the black influence (for the most part) just makes em more commercially oriented-BW predictable growth pattern,a butt to go with the rest etc O0

Because she's almost 4 months old. I weaned all the other calves too.

I think most people wean in between four and six months of age, its pretty common. Thats just what I've heard though. BTW nice heifer Zach, looks like she's going to be one to go on and compete then make that clubby donor for you down the road.
