Although my brother and I had to judge in the collegiate livestock judging contest, we were still able to get our heifers there and back! Our new shorthorn plus SULL Miss Blue Blooded made it to the final drive after winning her open show class, we think she is off to a great start. Our purebred SULL Perfect Pattern was third in class in both jr and open. We were really happy with this result and the judges reasons, we think she looked great and will only continue to get better. Attached are a few pictures from the show and a few of the new addition that weve taken over the past few days. Let us know what u think. Thanks to Sullivans for their generosity and help. How did everyone else fair?

She is out of SULL Breathless...a vegas x angus, who is one of the most winning shorthorn plus females ever. Noone else has any North American tales to tell?

Our hfrs did alright. We had a 1st & a 3rd in the jr show & 4th & a 5th in the open show.
Saw Stumpy ( he's got an outstanding bull going to be selling in Denver), OFS, Lin.Jane & her as always cute dtr. ( she had 2 Major Leroy hfrs that were packed full of meat) , Shortdawgs' bull was there minus the owner, AtoZ (he had real nice hfr, that did pretty good in the show).

Yes we were 4th and 6th overall there

I think I remember seeing you guys there, but didn't make the connection until now. I was on one of the High School teams from IN.

Are you taking your two heifers to Denver?

We have the plus entered, but will likely not be sending her since she will jackpoted heavily. The shorthorn is going to PA farm show which runs during portions of Denver, so wed rather take her there.

We had National Champion Chianina Bull again and a reserve in division in the shorthorn bull show.
