The calf looks like it has alot of navel and since they are red I would guess beefmaster or gerts.

I saw a herd of Beefmaster in Texas a few years ago that really resembled this picture. I think the Beefmaster herd I saw was probably the most uniform herd I have ever seen... anytime,..... anywhere. I was truly amazed as it looked like someone had cloned a cow about a hundred times.  The cows were extremely quiet and most would let you walk up to them and scratch them.And their udders were simply amazing. I was truly impressed.

My first guess was South Devon, but after looking for awhile I am thinking that Beefmaster may be a better first guess.

There is a herd of Tuli's down the road from me and they dont completely resemble these.

I am trying to think of where I have seen this breed at, I know I have seen this breed!

Kind of reminds me of Santa Cruz cattle.

1/2 Santa Gertrudis, 1/4 Red Angus and 1/4 Gelbvieh composite animal

I'll vote Brahmousin. I used to have some friends that were very competitive in the Brahmousin thing some years back, and I'd say these look the part.

My first though was Beefmaster.

I haven't see a Red Poll in alot of years ( the calf kinda resembles on in color and type)  but I think too heavy boned.
