Ok guys have 2 questions
1. slick sheared calf several weeks ago and his hide seems to be getting flaky like, what should i do? I have done some stuff to help it already but its not totally gone and we have to slick again on sunday so want to put the right thing on it, we show next week.

2. calf is extremly nervous all the time, mostly when handled he gets the scours within 5 min of being handled, what do you do to try to prevent this?

The hair keeps the oil from letting the skin dry out.  Oil often and plenty,  the skin is just chapped.
Nerves should get better with time,

a little hocus pocus on his hide will get rid of the flakes, im sure you will find this starnge, but feed him some baking soda, i will sttle him down, not sure of the scientific reasoning, but it really does work
