Dint know where you are located, but I'm not real high on all this add this add that miracle in a bottle or a sack. And not sure how much calf weighs.
Get in the 11 to 12 percent protien range, and depending on the heat 2 1/2 percent fat your hay needs to be scratch and filler, not as a feed source. Beet pulp, cotton seed hulls, are needed, they add fill and keep stomach troubles down.
Walk through the pen and notice the droppings, too firm add protien and fat, too loose add fiber, sour smell, usually too much corn and ph of the gut is tending wrong direction.
Wet feed in more palatable, just like eating oatmeal cookies with out milk, takes more work to get them down.
Keep feed coarse, fines tend to act as a laxative, a working gut will get you more gain.

About the only way to fix a tight heart is fat.  When he reaches mature weight and is at his terminal point is when it will look the best.  That being said, if you over fill the calve before going into the ring it will accentuate this problem.  If your calve needs more depth and spring of rib then you will need to find a happy medium.  G-Luck
