I always seem to have trouble getting weight on my heifers. They are never underweight, but just never big and full. This year she is a fairly picky eater, so that isnt helping either. She has been eating approximately 25-30 lbs a day of AAOK's ration. I started her on Sure Champ last week hoping to get her belly working well. I have also started her on some Winning Fill this week, but she actually isn't a big fan of it. I hate to up her corn intake in fear of making her even hotter (already 102 today)
I tried some soy oil this spring but that about made her go off feed completely for a little while.
I was thinking maybe some barley?

What would everyone else suggest?

b12, more exercise, and more liquid molasis.

A couple doses of B12 might do the trick.  When turned out does she have an acre or 2 for exercise?  I wouldn't think more molasses would help.

fitters edge by Purina and Depth Charge, if you need a little more, add in receiving chow.  Even a little power fuel can help.
