Here are a couple pictures of two of our new bulls. The first is a line bred improver from elbee farms and the second is a JPJ x Party gal from Studers. We hope both prove to be easy calving. Only time will tell.

Man this is exactly what Ive saying" solid red improver" son. Can u post his pedigree or reg # . Please tell me he is not roan on the other side!! ;D
So glad you bumped this post - I was trying to remember where that red and some white Elbee bull went? Are you expecting just spring calves by throwback or do you have some falls on the ground now? Will said:We just had Throwback and JB Gus collected this week. We were able to collect each one one time and get 200 and 300 units. The Gus bull had a 39cm scotal. I thought that was pretty good for a long yearling that just came off cows. Not to mention he just survived arguably the worst summer western Oklahoma has ever had.
They are two good looking bulls (thumbsup) I really like the looks of the Gus bull. Having 80C in his background really appeals to me as he leaves a practical good doing type with some eye appeal. Will said:We just had Throwback and JB Gus collected this week. Will said:TM gus son that rounds out our trio of red hopefully easier calving bulls.
I did not weigh him and we did not get a scrotal measurement. I do not remember for sure but I know he was barely over 1100 as a yearling. He is heavier now than he was when we turned him out. As far as his scrotal he is not as big as the Gus bull but he is quite sufficient. We will get our first calve out of him the middle March. We bred 10 heifers to him so we may have a little idea how easy calving he will be.sue said:So glad you bumped this post - I was trying to remember where that red and some white Elbee bull went?
