We finally had our Gigolo Joe calf this morning. She's a heifer, all black but little white on udder. Was up almost right away. Not sure of weight but looks small.
I also got my new camera yesterday. Didn't have it figured out when I went to see her so no pictures yet. I'll get some this afternoon when temp above -8 w/ wind chill.
We named her Flo Jo.

I have a question on viewing the pictures.  For some reason I can only see the pictures that are posted from some posters not all.  I can never see the pictures that Red posts.  Anyone have any ideas.

Questions answered: It's a Nikon 40D. I wear the neck strap! No idea on why I'd be offended on white calves. It's short cut straw. I have no idea why you can't see the pictures. That might be a Jason question.

She weighed 75 pounds which is wonderful for us!

Thanks for the comments!

Congrats, Red, on both the calf and the camera!  I love my D40 as well!!  I especially love the fact that it has none of the usual digital lag time between pressing the shutter button and when the picture actually is taken.  With the Nikon, it's click fast and the picture is done!  I love mine more every time I use it.  Bet you will too!!
