i'm thinking they kill a lot of pets.
According to the Virginia state Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, in 2006 PETA euthanized 1942 cats, of 1965 cats brought to the shelter that were not reclaimed by their owners (or 98.8%); 988 dogs, of 1044 brought to the shelter that were not reclaimed by their owners (or 94.6%); and 50 "other companion animals," of 52 brought to the shelter that were not reclaimed by their owners (or 96.2%). The shelter reported only 12 animal adoptions in 2006, and 46 animals transferred to other agencies. [4] Statewide in 2006, Virginia shelters reported euthanizing 116,695 animals, of 243,371 not reclaimed by their owners (or 47.9%). [5]
PETA should be breeding more humans to take care of these animals as there simply are not enough humans on the planet to take care of them.
in asia, they know how to deal with this. we used to know how to deal with this with horses, but we "can't" do that anymore.
PETA, always offering "choice"
what's next, registering to have babies? think that can't happen? the UN, in so many words, essentially wants to do this in lieu of capitalism, because socialism can't control this without rules like china.
capitalism will do it, as one can't afford to have children beyond their means, in most cases this is followed, unless the government subsidizes it, then it only promotes it, ie child exemption on your tax return beyond replacement, 2.1 kids.
