Thought Id just update everyone on this bulls progress, posted a picture on here a few months ago,

Thank you Zach, when he was little I thought he was a little narrow in the front, but he sure has come out of that, the guys are working really hard on their two
bulls and gonna try to market semen on both of them, if this Dumb Iowa weather ever straightens out, they really dont want to risk loading and unloading in such
slimy conditions, they need to take them to be tested and semen gathered, and then professional pictures. Horray.  Again thanks for the compliment.

Well, I AM a Shorty guy, and I think he's pretty dang nice.  I would be super proud of him, and I know you guys are.  I can't wait to see him completely prettied up, along with his buddy the fuzzy black bear.  Excellent looking calf.

Well, I just picked up my first ever Shorthorn cross (Lowline cross) today, so I am a rookie, but I think that he (the bull pictured in this thread) is pretty nice too.

Well, I AM a Shorty guy, and I think he's pretty dang nice.  I would be super proud of him, and I know you guys are.  I can't wait to see him completely prettied up, along with his buddy the fuzzy black bear.  Excellent looking calf.

Well, I just picked up my first Shorthorn cross (Lowline cross) today, and I think he's pretty nice too.

Im sure he is, I have heard good thinks about lowlines, post a picture sometime.

Sorry for the confusion!!  I'm embarrassed!!  What I meant to type came out sounding different!!  I was actually referring to "your bull" looking nice.  However, after reading my post, what I meant to convey, doesn't exactly sound like what I typed.  I was agreeing with OFS & trying to play off of his words & Zach's words & let everyone know that I am a brand new Shorthorn owner, not a pro like OFS is.  Again, sorry about the confusion!!

With that said, I think that the calf that I got today looks nice too, but it's a heifer, not a bull.  I'll post a pic sometime, but, this thread is about your bull & he's a nice one, IMHO.

Thank you, dont be embarassed, I was happy you had a nice bull too, now Im happy you have a good heifer, yep post the picture sometime.  I love seeing others pictures, I wish people would post them more, thats how you really get to know someone is by what they like and dont like in pictures, again thanks, its all about working hard and promoting so I hope all the hard work the guys are doing someday pays off.

Yes, she's 1/2 Lowline X 1/2 Shorthorn.  She is mostly blue with a little white on the belly and a few scattered white hairs throughout, so I don't know if that's enough white to be considered a blue roan or not, probably just blue.  She's sired by a Lowline bull that I used to own (JR) & out of a roan Sin City daughter.  She looks better in person than she did in the pictures that I got, but I know the guy who raised her & I trust him.

He is a May 07 bull out of Radioactive bull and a Fantasy girl cow, not sure on the birthweight my sons partner would know for sure,
so he is purebred shorthorn

Just found out that both bulls are testing good so we are ready for professional pictures and freezing, keep your eyes out in the near future for the ads.
