I guess I wasn't specifically saying look in Texas, a flood of the market will drop prices everywhere.  If you are wanting to look in TX I would get ahold of JoeBoy or Chambero folks like that that have been around a long time down there and are honest and will know what you're looking for.

What about buying a recip cow, getting with a breeder of your choice that fits your program and the direction you want to go, and but some embryos from him. There will be a waiting period for the end result going that route, but it is possible that you can but an ET pregnancy with the genetics you desire, and maybe get the breeder to throw in an embryo of two. Just a thought
