New Show question- filling out a flank or calf

Ok, I have a question... 
I have a heifer and she's a bit tucked up in her flank. It gives her a steer-y look... & judges have mentioned it at some of the shows i have been too. I've been feeding beet pulp to help fill her out ... any other things I might be able to try?

My first question  is what do you mean by tucked up in the flank? high in the flank?

Remember when we used to clip the hair short, in and around the flank, to exsensuate the stifle? Spell check does'nt know what exsensuate means, maybe I don't either.

Elbee- do you mean accentuate (to draw attention to or bring out or emphasis). I hate that when you have a word on the tip of your tongue & you just can't figure it out! spell check has been good in some ways but really takes us away from looking up words in the dictionary!


I think this is where the rice brush or roto brush would be good. Get the hair to stand up more.
