I reduced the size and lightened him up a little so it's easier to see.  Nice steer!  Since he's obviously been groomed and clipped, can you tell me just what makes him "no fit"?  Thanks!

I interpret his reference to "No Fit" to mean blow and go.  Many of our local jackpots follow this procedure, the animals are clipped and blown out but the use of adhesives and paints are off limits.  My son's Shorthorn last year was perfect for these type of shows, hair, hair, and more hair!  I personally love them because I get to kick back and relax, while the boys do all of the work.

Our fair is a no fit show, and it basically means no glue or paint.  We use foam, revive and final bloom and we are "still within the rules".

That is a really outstanding looking calf.  I like him. Here is a picture of my steer from last year who did pretty well for me in 2007.  He is pictured at our county fair, a no fit show, where he was third overall and weighed 1250.
