He is probably one of the safest bets on heifers.  Totally proven calving ease!  We have some NI daughters in our herd and they are great mothers.

Used him on Mossy Oak heifer and  3C Macho heifer. I really like his calves. The one's we have had do have hair and they also are easy feeding. Could be more massive but are fancy calves.

I'd like to know how that turns out.  As much as everyone complains about Heatwave daughters not being able to have calves without the zipper on the side this could be a true test of the calving ease of NI.  I'm willing to bet she will pass it no problem.  We averaged 71 pounds on our calves that were by him when we used him heavily.....had to check the old calving book for that one.  That was with an actual scale not tape.  ;D  BTW, you had better have some good fences...those little suckers have some vigor.  They aren't crazy but they got up and going so fast that they always ended up on the other side of the fence curled up by our front door.  ???

I'll let you know how it turns out. I'm hoping that he will add a little more of the motherly trates that the Heatwaves seem to lack. <cowboy>
