Im starting to realize that its getting fall, and for my family that means soup season, was wondering if you all would share your favorite soup recipe.
Here is a couple of ours:
Taco Soup
1 1/2 lbs hamburger
1 can chili beans (not drained)
1 can pinto beans ( not drained)
1 can red or kidney beans (not drained)
1 can whole corn (drained)
1 can Rotel Tomatoes
1 quart homemade tomatoes (or stewed tomatoes)
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 envelope hidden valley ranch seasoning
1 diced onion
cheddar cheese for top
frito chips for top
Brown hamburger and onion, add hidden valley and taco seasonings, add rotel tomatoes, tomatoes and beans, and corn, cook well.
to Serve top with cheddar cheese and frito chips
Cheeseburger Soup
1 lb hamburger
3/4 C chopped onion
3/4 c diced celery
1 t. parsley flakes
3 C chicken broth
4 cups diced potatoes
1/4 c flour
8 oz velvetta cheese
1 1/2 C milk and 4 T butter
salt,pepper
1/4 C sour cream
Brown beef, onion, add broth, potatoes, onion,pasley, celery and cook. In a separate sauce pan, mix butter and flour, cook a little, then stir slowley into soup,
turn down heat and add milk, cheese to soup, then add sour cream and stir in slowly.
