Not what we were expecting

This is our 2 week old Crowd Favorite x I80 bull calf.  We were all expecting a small black calf, but instead we got an 85 lb gray calf

Why were you expecting it to be small or black out of Crowd Favorite if he himself is a peach colored Heat Wave son? Is it supposed to be out of a different bull?

Was the mating I80 bred to a crowd favorite heifer/cow?

I think it's neat.
When you list those X x Y x Z pedigrees, put the sire first, then the sire of the dam, then the sire of the dam's dam. ( proof the cow is twice as important as the bull!)
Anyway, then the smart alecs won't smart alec on you so much.
