Just got some semen on these two with a purchase of some other stuff that I really wanted: never used them- don't know the slightest bit about them.

Did research them- and saw they are full brothers: maybe even flush brothers.  Sonny x AF Margies Dream Lady 05.. Do have my old AF dispersal catalog- tried looking her up== but was already sold to SULL and SS before that..  <hero> what a bumber (for those of you who know me).

Question I guess is: Should I try this free stuff out sometime, and let it be the ice breaker (again, those of you who know how I feel), or should I just hang onto it to resell it later-- or just trash it? O0

Personally, I like the picture of Paradise better-- Notorious looks aweful shallow and flat sided in his...

You know me Jody I'm not in to shorties but if I were going to use the semen I would use Paradise and give him a try. He's not bad looking bull from looking at the picture. I agree Notorious does look a little shallow for my liking. I would probably sell it unless I had a cow that was sound all over to make up for where he lacks. He looks like to me he lacks muscle tone. Then again I don't think I would want to risk it unless I saw offspring of his. That's just my imo.

Both are Sonny son's and I have seen calves out of both. Notorious was the clubbier of the two. Both 04 models promoted heavily in 05. Notorious was promoted by Sherwood  Cattle and Abney Family cattle. SS Paradise- as you know Schrag. I would drop an email to the owners. I would use either one but I like sonny females.

You know, I've been thinking of putting off my lack of desire for another couple of years-- until I can get a set built up that I like.. and then putting the record on to see if it's really broken- or just cracked in half...

Seriously think Sonny of the Trump son's does it like none of the others. He makes females that are broody and easier fleshing of the Trump genetics. I don't think you would be unhappy with either just depends on what females you use them on. I always thought Sonny clicked really well on the Double Stuff lines.

I have always heard that Sonny throws more BW, than any other Trumps- including the old man...

My other Sonny son is DRM Mickey-- a bull that I think has done a great job- and I actually went out of my way to purchase that semen before it was gone.

Btw: I did a semen tankS inventory-- and I'm pretty sure I have almost 900 straws divided up between 2.5 tanks.

I would use notorious on cows that have a little more depth of body. they dont have to be really big bellied but as long as the cow has some body to her you should be fine. the three cows we used notorious on were good bodied cows and didnt have a problem. and the heifer I showed was never critized on her depth of body. Standing still she was a tick straight on her back legs but on the move she had flex and hit her stride and as a cow she moved even better and was never called unsound.
