OBE Shorthorn show?

No but I will see him in the morning. His depth of rib and volume are similar to an Outback bull I sold from the looks of the picture in the catalog. You can see the resemblence.

I had a chance to see him today.  He looked real simular to the pic. in the catalog.  Real deep bodied, lots of flesh, yes some fat too, but he wasn't all fat n fluff.  Big middled, lots of capacity.  Would have liked to see him a little wider based, and a little longer pasturned.  He didn't move as easily as maybe he could have for me because of that I think.  As usual they had there stock looking about as good as you could make em look.  Overall I think that bull was an awful good kinda bull.  My issues are just nit picking I think.
I was plesently suprised with how well I liked the jsf gauge bull calves.  Real complete kind of beef animals.  Not super fancy, not something I would get all excited about going out and breeding my cows to, but that's not what I'm after.  I think if you are more in to that end of the beef industry more than the show cattle, those calves would be right up your alley.  That Res champ of Bylands was impressive on that scale.

Please post sale results by lot if anyone has them.  I liked the red Stone Springs bull in them catalog but word on the street was that he sold private treaty for $7500 last week.
