i was wondering if anyone had any calf reports on him including bw, growth, positives,or negatives. thanks in advance

Awesome bull. He breeds alot like OCC Legend in that he compliments the cow more than changes her. BW is moderate, I would be very careful when breeding him to Heifers. He gives his calves the easy fleshing Ohlde look. calves seem to have good dispositions. If you want to make good females he is the bull to use. Unlike Anchor, fertility is not a problem with Missing Link. He is not the changer Anchor is, but does almost everything right.

  What frame size cows do you get out of him?  I have smaller cows, and need a little growth.

We tried him on a heifer that we raised on a bottle. She had a bull calf on Feb 23rd that weighed 78lbs,unassisted, he is growing nicely. I will say I was very nervous because a neighbor used him on a cow, watched the calf being born three weeks before ours was due. She did a great job considering he weighed in the mid 90s. I will say he is stout as they come for a PB angus.  I plan on using him again.  Good luck

they were out of 6 to 6.5 frame cows. He did not change the cow a whole lot, but seemed to compliment her while adding fleshing ability. I would think you could get away with breeding him to a smaller cow, they do grow well. If you are looking to add some frame and growth with calving ease the connealy thunder calves are very good, as well as the SAV Iron Mountain calves. Missing Link will not breed you up, he did not seem to be a real changer
