My co-workers at my job are latinos from a'ways south of SanAntonio. Hispanic folks are notorious for their phrases. My favorite one is (translated) "the devil knows hell". This means, you'd better listen up when a new love interest is talking about their past. Another one is "Amor de lejos, es amor de pendejos!!" Translation-- long distance love is for idiots.

My dad said that one today!! I don't even remember the rest of the conversation, but I started bustin' up when he said it.  My dad was confused, but what else is new? Haha, it was sooo funny  (lol)
