Anybody have info on him... what he will change on cows both positive and negative attributes...... is it true he had white socks on his rear legs?

Bob Dwyer would be the man to talk to. He has semen available on him. Chopper's dam gets close to Black Bear and Ward Bakenhaus' sire Rock Solid is a full sib to her. Kaenow's have some Black Bear cows I think. Here's a link to a picture of Ward's bull. Bottom link is a link to Chopper's dam which should be the same for Rock Solid. I couldn't find Rock Soid's pedigree easily.

there was another bull named black bear that had white socks.  He works best on small framed angus cows.  We have been using him on heifers.  Best sire group by far at our house last year.  I dont think Bob has any semen, we have some available.

i really like the rock solid bull, will actually probably use him this year depending on calving reports i chickened out last summer when i was buying semen and never bred anything to him.

we actually just bought a blackbear daughter and a granddaughter last thursday.  Rod Derrer runs a ton of them and i know there are guys out west that run them for commercial cattle
