Onset Heifer

Here is a picture of our first Onset calf, hope the rest are this good. 70 lbs and lot of vigor, 2 days overdue

Would love to follow along as this calf grows! I hope to put some Onset embryos in this spring.

The dam is an Ali out of a Boardwalk, which was out of the dam to Winegardner's Libby cow.  Small framed easy keeper.

Had another one a couple of days ago and really like her.  She's a little different made, more structure and flatter made out of the Thriller x Shorthorn in our Avatar

Took some recent pictures of our Onset x Ali, She is progressing nicely.  We will be getting her cosmo done soon and start working her hair, she has a great disposition too.  Haven't taken any of the Onset x Thriller in a while, but she is very nice too.

Here is the sale photo for the Onset x Ali/Boardwalk selling on SC on 10-29-18 in Schroeder's sale.  She is flat awesome, cow is bred back the same way and is probably going to get flushed that way.

Thanks for the nice comments. She didn’t make the reserve so we are going to put her in to production.
