Open show vs Junior Show

My kid has only shown heifers in Jr Shows for Texas Majors.  She will  be showing Jr shows on SA and Houston but we decided to enter in open show for Fort Worth What are the pros and cons of the open shows?  Seems less crowded and more laid back but may not be less crowded since you can take as many as you want to pay for.  What can we expect?
