Open shows in NE iowa

anybody got any open shows around? all ready looked at the ijbba shows

Would you consider southern Minnesota.  I believe it is either Rochester or Austin that has a show coming up very shortly.  If you contacted the Minnesota Extension agency in one of those two counties they could probably give you the info.  Also there is the West Central MN Junior Livestock show which is July 24 I believe.  if you are talking northern IA I am guessing it would be about a 4-5 hour trip for you.  If you want info on this show contact the West Otter Tail County Extension Service.  It is the day after their county fair ends and there is some top notch animals their.  The Champion Foundation Simmental Heifer and Champion Simmental steer and Reserve Champion Hereford steer at MN State Fair as well as Reserve Champion Maine Anjou prospect steer at MN Beef Expo were at this show as well as some other high placers at MN State Fair.

I know of only one other show that would not be on the IJBBA website... the Winneshiek county fair in Decorah has a show that is not IJBBA sanctioned.  Their fair is early July.  Otherwise the only shows are listed on IJBBA.....Butler County Fair(Allison), Cero Cordo County(Mason City), Bremer County(Waverly), Cattle Congress....
