Hey, just wanting to see what people think of my 2010/2011 4-H calves and summer project.

Steer- 7/8 shorty 1/8 Simmy, about 980lbs home raised. sire Alta Ceder Trademark

Roan heifer- purebred shorthorn sire Saskvalley Piston Dam Bell M Ashton 109S. This heifer is my 4-H project.

Red Heifer- 3/4 Shorty 1/4 Simmy. First female for RSL Cattle Co. Planning to be bred to River Hill Walker (Speckle Park).

Roan Heifer and Steer will be first shown at Yorkton Spring Steer and Heifer show.

Red Heifer will first be shown at Canadian National Junior Shorthorn Show.
All will be shown at the Prince Albert Ex.

The roan hiefer spoke TO ME IN A DREAM-breed me CLUBBY (lol) Shes way cool-I like the fact that you are doing some x-breeding-I havent seen much from up North other than the people who produced Maverick,Canasta etc,they are ahead of thier time perhaps. O0

Nice calves. You will be happy you bred to Walker. I have the bull calf that was reserve to him as a calf at Agribition. We used him last summer on our Speckie females and on all my purebred Shorty cows...................I have 3 crossbred calves on the ground now that are in my opinion the perfect clubby calf.........wide tops, big butts, colour and off cows that milk. Have fun.
