Opinions on Pre-Con for steers: Use/Amount/Etc

How does everyone use Pre-Con in their heifer or steer rations? Would like to know recommended feeding amounts, etc..... Thanks!

We feed 50/50 feed and precon to our heifers.  If they start to get too fat, we'll go 60/40 with precon.  Does a great job with rib shape and depth on heifers.  Assume it would do the same for steers, but not sure what ratio precon to feed you would use for steers.
