Opinions on Shorthorn Steer

Steer looks green so get him on feed. I've sometimes found shorthorns non aggressive eaters, so if you have other steers with him i would monitor how much feed he's getting. You might have to make some adjustments if you have enough space.

The steer looks like he's got some good gut, might need a little more flank, but that could he how he's standing. Good luck with this guy!

We have 3 other steers and 2 heifers eating with him, they each are tied up and given theyre own feed bukcet to eat out of. We do this both morning and night. He's getting 6 lbs a meal and is a pretty aggresive eater, he is usually one of the first to finish. Its the way he is standing, he's pretty straight in his underline. He definently has enough gut, he always has since we have seen him in the pasture had a gut that sticks out when you look at him from behind. We think he is going to be a pretty big steer, any suggestions on a good holding feed or rations?
