Here are a few of this years calves and I was wondering what everyone thought of them.  Let em have it, good or bad.
First three are a Nighty Night X Meyer 1468 heifer.  Last two are a My Turn X Angus bull.  He is standing down hill on the second one

Really like the My Turn calf has a nice showy look. The Nighty Night although good and thick may be a little sloppy time will tell. The Apollo nice calf. good job

I got the nighty night heifer cleaned up and roughed out today.  Here are some new pictures.  She is kinda stretched out in the pictures.

You're not really doing this heifer any favors with her pictures. She does look stout and thick but not showy.
Might have her stretched a bit far, but she is pretty cool looking, I wouldnt mind having her myself :)

Romax... I agree with you on not being the most showy animal.  But thats okay...  We really like her.  If you see her in person she is real cowy looking and thats how her pedigree is.  She is out of Nighty Nighy( Chill factor x Baldridge Angus) and her dam is out of meyer 1468(line bred) and a Jackpot cow.  The jackpot cow is actually the dam of purple passion who is a new smooth sailing son that is out this year.  She looks alot like her mama and should make a pretty nice cow we hope.

No she is not out of the red baldy.  The red heifer is doing really good though.  She has a black heifer calf by northern improvement  that looks okay.  She wont be near the animal that her mommy is though.  The nighty night is actually out of this heifer.

I really like the Nighty Night Cattle that I have seen (20-25) of them and kept up on 5 or so they seem to get better with age. They stay sound and good bodied and should have decent hair but Idk with the % sim cow. I think he can make some great females for the club calf industry.

We would love to raise a group of females like this heifer. A person would have so many more options with females like her at breeding time. She would be more than welcome at our farm.
