this is a pic of our herd bull that we are going to sell some calves out of him for the first time this fall. he is a 3/4 maine out of DJ High Definition out of a DJ Hard Drive, thf and phaf.
what do you think of him.
My honest opinion is that there isn't enough bull there. I would like to see more overall depth but I am particularily concerned about the lack of spring in his forerib. He is just a little to toght wound for me. If your cows are very deep sided soggy cattle then the style and hardness from this bull might work great. I wish you all the best. This post will probably get me in trouble but I thought you were looking for input.
cattle nut, you'll be fine i like honest answers i was looking for people's inputs. i will post a pic or two of his calves in a couple of weeks after we get them clipped and they start eating good and hope to get more feedback on them
thanks

are those pics of him while he was on cows working
? if they are i bet that he would have a tad more spring and depth of rib. but in these pics he could use some more
