I've seen a lot of them at #600 look pretty flat sided and small, but if they come on, they come hard. They feed quite a bit like Whiskey calves, with a little softer look.

HAD ABOUT 40 LAST YEAR...FEEDING OUT TWO STEERS AND ONE HEIFER OUT OF THAT BUNCH RIGHT NOW.

THEY ARE DOING WELL, ONE OF THE STEERS IS AT 1100 LBS ONLY EATING 12 LBS A DAY RIGHT NOW, HE'S A GOOD EATER!
THE OTHER ONE IS DOING THE SAME ABOUT A HUNDRED LBS LIGHTER A LITTLE PICKIER BUT DOING OK (I HOPE)

THE HEIFER EATS GOOD TOO, DOESN'T LOOK VERY FAT THOUGH SOME SIGNS OF FAT AT THE TAILHEAD AND FLANK AREA BUT NOT REAL WIDE YET AT ALL.

THIS IS OUR FIRST ROUND OF CLUB CALVES IN YEARS, THEY HAVE TONS OF HAIR, AND HAVE BEEN VERY EASY TO WORK WITH, REAL SWEET EASY TO BREAK ETC.  NEVER TRIED TO KICK.

AS FAR AS HOW THEY'LL LOOK COME THE MAJORS...JUST HOPING WE CAN KEEP THEM WHERE THEY NEED TO BE....
