What do you do to get paint out of the legs after building them up?

Either use Hocus pocus, or Ezall adehisive remover, or if in a bind WD 40 will take it out also.

I tried both hocus pocus and EZ all but they both left some paint.

Use Hocus Pocus, and then Sullivans Clear Choice just like Zach and Garret said. You have to let that Hocus Pocus sit a little bit to break down the adhesive, you can't just spray it on at the wash rack and rinse it off right away. Another thing that may help.......Good Ol' Elbow Grease  ;)

i absolutely detest hocus pocus. we always fins that it burns the calves, and eats our hands. although, it works great on jeans for after the show. we prefer ez-all's It's Gone. it's less harmful for the calves, but it can dry out hands. we spray it on liberallly, scrub with a brush, blow out (stand back with black paint  ;D), spray again, and wash.

Thanks. I think I finally got it all out with the clear choice.  It usually comes out fine when I just use hocus pocus and scrub it in and then wash him out with soap.
